| (My Wordle) A Few of My Favorite Things |
Hello! My name is Chris and I am 43 years old. I am married and have three children. Two of my children are in their twenties and my youngest is three. I have a wonderful grandson and he is two and half. I was born in Indiana and have lived in or near Osgood, IN for most of my life. I currently am taking classes through Ivy Tech to earn a LTA degree. I will graduate in the spring and I am hoping to obtain a position in a library in Children Services. I like working with children and have had various volunteer positions, such as Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout Leader (Bears and Webelos), Sunday School teacher, and various other volunteer activities involving my children and their school. Yesterday I started a work/study position in the library at my local Ivy Tech campus. I am a little nervous but I am confident I will gain valuable knowledge and experience. I am writing this blog for my LIB 105 class, Library Technology. I am sure I will be challenged to go beyond my comfort zone and develop a better understanding of the technologies and tools that will help me in my future career goals. ------------------ Pictures of My Family | ||

My children plus myself, my husband Jack,
Your volunteer work sounds very similar to mine. I have helped with Girl Scouts, Sunday School and Junior Worship as well as with school activities and sports teams. My children are 14 years apart, and from the photo, it looks like your older children are about that much older than Delaney. I imagine you will begin to feel more comfortable with doing these new (at least to us) projects. I know I am learning and feeling a bit more comfortable with technology now. Hope you enjoy your classes and your new work study position.
